Geography shouldn't decide who gets good IT.

For more than 25 years we've served the communities and organizations larger providers overlooked, with hardware, hands-on support, managed services and the network to back them.

Practical technology support, since 1998.

Arrow Technology Group is an Alberta technology company built around practical IT support, hardware supply, managed services, communications and field service for organizations that need technology to work where they operate.

We support businesses, First Nations organizations, Métis settlements, schools, health centres and communities across Alberta. Whether you need hardware supply and deployment, on-site field service, managed IT or enterprise networking and communications, Arrow does it all.

Many of our technical staff have supported the same Alberta communities and organizations for years, so customers aren't starting from scratch every time they call. And Arrow maintains a dedicated cage at Wolfpaw for the server and network infrastructure behind our services.

From SIS to Arrow.

Two organizations with the same mission found each other, and became something bigger than either could be alone.

  1. 1998

    SIS is founded

Bruce Burman and Lyndon Lobo found Strategic Information Systems to bring reliable hardware, software and IT support to rural and underserved Alberta communities that larger providers weren't reaching.

  2. 2005

    Broadband breakthrough

SIS begins delivering broadband internet to communities that had never had it, proving geography is no reason to be left behind.

  3. 2012

    Arrow Technology Group is born

TSAG acquires 51% of SIS, creating Arrow Technology Group and combining deep community roots with expanded technical capacity across the province.

  4. 2015+

    500 km of fibre

Arrow lays more than 500 kilometres of fibre across Alberta, expanding connectivity to dozens of communities.

  5. 2018+

    Secure infrastructure

A dedicated Arrow cage at the Wolfpaw data centre supports our server and network operations in Alberta.

  6. Today

    44 First Nations communities

Businesses, health centres, band administrations, Métis settlements, schools and rural organizations, served with hardware, on-site support, managed IT and communications infrastructure.

Two organizations, one mission.

TSAG's story goes back to 1996, when it was mandated to deliver core technical services and training to communities across Alberta's Treaty territories. Over the years it grew into a trusted, community-rooted organization with deep relationships across Treaty 6, Treaty 7 and Treaty 8.

When TSAG acquired 51% of SIS in 2012, it wasn't just a business transaction. It was two organizations with the same mission finding each other.

The result is Arrow: technically capable, community-focused and built to last.

Our vision

Technology that actually reaches everyone. The communities we serve deserve the same infrastructure, support and accountability as anyone in a major city.

Our promise

We supply the gear, install it properly and support it where the work happens, from Edmonton offices to remote Alberta communities.
